Description

- To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of amoxicillin/clavulanate potassium should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by bacteria.

Description
- Piperacillin
- - A broad-spectrum, semisynthetic penicillin exerts bactericidal activity by inhibition of both septum and cell-wall synthesis.
- - In vitro, piperacillin is active against a variety of Gram-positive and Gram-negative aerobic and anaerobic bacteria.
- Tazobactam
- - A β-lactamase inhpibitor of the Molecular class A enzymes, including Richmond- Sykes class III (Bush class 2b & 2b') penicillinases and cephalosporinases.
- - Tazobactam does not induce chromosomally mediated β-lactamases at tazobactam concentrations achieved with the recommended dosage regimen.

Description
- Cefpodoxime Proxetil is a oral third generation cephalosporin antibiotic with effectiveness against most Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria. The bactericidal activity of Cefpodoxime results from its inhibition of cell wall synthesis.
- Clavulanic acid, a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefpodoxime Proxetil against bacteria.
